HERMANUS WHALE WHATCHING EXPERIENCE(JUNE - NOV)

Departure from Cape Town: 08:30

For guests with a 12:00 whale-watching boat, we plan the route to arrive in time for your boat departure.
For guests with a 15:00 boat, please allow for a later return to Cape Town, usually around 19:00–19:30, depending on the length of the boat trip, weather and road conditions.

Your Day Can Include:

• Scenic coastal routes and photo stops
• Clarence Drive and beautiful viewpoints
• Stony Point Penguin Colony — a quieter and more intimate penguin experience
• Hermanus town and whale-watching viewpoints
• Free time to explore local craft markets
• Optional lunch at a restaurant of your choice
• A visit to a small wine estate or hidden Winelands gem for a relaxed wine experience.
• Alternatively, enjoy lunch at a beautiful wine estate

A Flexible Route

• Your route is planned around your whale-watching boat time.
• If you prefer a different experience, we can also travel via Sir Lowry's Pass, with a stop at a farm store for coffee and fresh bakery treats before continuing towards Hermanus, then return via a scenic route.

This is not a fixed itinerary. We will tailor the day around your boat time, weather conditions and personal interests, wherever possible.
