Khanya picked us up in front of the guest house and here started an amazing trip, with stories, history and highlights from the areas we were passing. Khanya made several stops along the way and was always keen to accommodate the needs and wishes we had, was it a sight stop or a stop for ice cream. Khanya was informed about or origin and had read what he able to read in the short time he had to prepare, to understand our culture. Khanya was also very open about him self and shared many stories of his upbringing and personal life.

Jimmy tours and Khanya, in particular, was the money well spend and cannot be compared to any other bus tour.

Read more and enriching experience as Jimmy, and his young adult son, provided endless information regarding the history of Cape Town and the townships as well as so many details about the customs, language, food and daily lives of the people in Langa. Well worth the time to do this tour, especially since Jimmy and his son made it so enjoyable. Take a sunhat, sunscreen, walking shoes or good sandals, water, and a little snack. We also toured the Langa Township with Jimmy, This was a very humbling experience, we were impressed to see what the people are doing to improve the Township. The children were very excited to see Jimmy as well as us. Efforts are being made to emphasize the importance of educating the children. The Township has a building setup so the children have a place with adequate lighting and space to keep do their homework as well as providing a tutoring service.
