1. Bookings
All bookings, quotations, amendments, and cancellations must be made via this website or in writing via email.
For urgent requests or last-minute changes, clients are advised to contact us directly and follow up with an email. All requests will be handled during operating hours.
Cape Friendly Tours cannot be held responsible for any changes or misunderstandings if these procedures are not followed.
2. Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
The remaining balance is payable on the first day of service (cash or card), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Full payment may be required via the website prior to the start of services
Bookings exceeding R12,000 must be fully pre-paid at least 5 days prior to commencement of services
3. Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable
7 days or more prior: Deposit retained only
3–6 days prior: 50% of total booking value
48 hours or less: 100% of total booking value charged
No-shows: 100% of total booking value will be charged
Where possible, cancellations may be converted into a rescheduled booking, subject to availability.
4. Amendments & Rescheduling
We will always try to accommodate changes to confirmed bookings. However, all amendments are subject to availability and must be requested in writing.
5. Late Arrivals
Late arrival by clients may result in a reduced tour duration without any refund. In cases of significant delay, services may be cancelled and treated as a no-show.
6. Liability & Responsibility
Cape Friendly Tours is not liable for:
- Delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, or road closures
- Changes due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
We will always aim to offer suitable alternatives where possible.
7. Refund Policy
Any approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Conduct
Cape Friendly Tours reserves the right to refuse service to any client whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.
